the lady colts(varsity) stuggled throughout the whole game, but coming close in the end. The lady colts couldnt stay strong and get their offense to work, with a little comeback at the end of the game wasnt enough to defeat the lady generals (Washington). Although Varsity lost, CHS junior varsity team was able to come up with the win againts Washingtons JV girls basketball team. Maybe next game ladies...

College choice pick #1: CSULB

OK, yeah i probablly wont get in, but Long beach is definitely among my top choices. with senior year coming soon, i decided to look into some colleges from Cal states to Comunnity Colleges. im hoping to get in long beach, but i doubt it. im trying to get my shit together in escuela, to better my chances. fingers crossed.

after 6th period started getting alittle boring, me(Eldan), and my good friend Brian "danger" Gamez, headed down to the carson Varsity & JV boys soccer game. the coach saw that i took photos for the school news paper "trailblazer", and gave me permission to take pictures and hang with the team, which was cool because i knew alot of the team as it is, and met some new cats. but yeah, here are some pictures before the game started. go CARSON!

So, today i decided to bring my nikon to escuela. just to take pictures of the homies, but when someone pointed this Banana peel on the ground, at the time looked to perfectly placed, for someone to actually slip, aha. little did i knoww, that only happens in cartoons & movies. but would still be cool if some ate sh&t.

i saw this outside my chemistry class, and i already knew what i wanted to do! its so random, but it looks dopee. picture came out pretty dope too.

this was a very relaxed shoot, i got to work my nikon and explore diffrent views and ways to find a better shot. it was really just a practice shoot to help me learn but i got a positive outcome so im happy with my work. here are some photo's of a good friend of mine elias gonzalez. enjoy.

2008 athlete of the year

oh ok, everyone have there own opinions on who should have been and who deserved the 2008 nba mvp. HANDS DOWN! the black mamba bruh! yeah i was close to giving this special award to my man, CHRIS PAUL but truth is he is a great player but hasnt acomplished half the shit MAMBA has. so this award goes to KOBE BRYANT hands down. he might have not won the 2008 nba champions title but they are hungry this season seekin' revenge on the big three and celtics. round two in june!

2008 movie of the year:

there were alot of good flicks that were worht the wait during 2008. to list a few the dark knight, gran torino, sweeney todd, etc. but none of those movies compare to the unbelievable histarical comedy "pineapple express". YES!, IM SORRY! dark knight fans, but this movie was too dope to stay a step below the ladder on the 2008 movie of the year canidates. so yes, thank you seth rogen and james franco but busting my f*ckin good. good shit rogen/franco. you guys get a strong 11/10. : ]
